Photography

All of my photography is an extension of my interest in visual storytelling. It is telling a complete story in one frame vs a series of frames like in my filmmaking work.

Whether I am capturing images from a quirky fashion event or pushing boundaries on the functional definition of a portrait, my work seeks a truth in storytelling, an elevation and challenge to the connoisseur’s gaze.

I take photographs everyday and what interests me most are moments that whisper from the corner of the eye, ways of turning common things on their head and transporting viewers into narrative.

Just as my narrative work is a conversation and not a performance, my photography is a journey and discovery rather than merely a stage.
